Just when it seemed it would be raining too hard for their dry petal recessional,
their guests rallied to give them the memory of a lifetime.
Resulting in one of my top 5 favorite photos of 2024, documented on medium format film.
We rushed over to Kimberley Hall to meet up with them for
couples photos & precious family photos with all their nieces & nephews. As always, I prioritized getting this done ASAP so the couple could reunite with friends & enjoy good food & drink.
Lydia wanted their reception to give Little Women Christmas energy,
& I personally think her & her three sisters (how perfect!) did the perfect job of making that dream come to life for their reception details.
Truly, their speeches brought me to tears multiple times. I rarely see couples so eager to put the shine on the people around them, as they took the time to thank intentionally each member of their wedding party, their family members, & even their vendors. That shows how pure & amazing their hearts are.
It stopped raining in the evening, so we decided to explore the venue’s grounds for some night photos.
The wind was wild, but their goofiness & love for each other made it incredibly fun.
The party started off right with their cake cutting,
& dancing… but just wait till you see how it ended.
After party karaoke?? WOW this was the cherry on top of an England wedding.
From 1900’s classics, to Defying Gravity (Cynthia Erivo we love you), to modern bops these guests gave karaoke their ALL. It was quite the way to celebrate Lydia & George’s love.
