The vast majority of couples who I get to document prefer the real moments over moments that I have posed or fabricated.
I am so so grateful I get to work with clientele like this, because it is my biggest joy to help couples remember real memories from their wedding day. Katie & Nick took this to the utmost level, really only wanting minimal direction during couples portraits, & a minimal amount of group photos, meanwhile looking for those sweet candids in between. Here are some of favorite of their memories:
Katie & Nick & their sweet sweet love.
With their loved ones, from the 5 minutes of traditional portraits, to the
real moments of celebration & hugs in between, they all serve a purpose.
This sweet photo above of Katie’s grandmother perfectly represents the excitement all of us felt leading into the ceremony.
With a brief moment of escape for the couple, we waived goodbye,
& I walked over to cocktail hour with the guests to document these moments of celebration.
The reception was full of confetti & sweet affection at the dinner table.
Katie & Nick delivered on candid affection towards each other which made my job of giving them real, sweet moments, achievable. Oh how lovely my job is!
